MSI Titan 18 (2025)

Testing notes: The Titan 18 delivered excellent gaming performance, strong creator results, 95W CPU plus near 170W GPU sustained power under combined load, a very bright Mini-LED screen at over 700 nits SDR and close to 1200 nits HDR, four M.2 slots, fast RAID SSD speeds, good speakers, a mechanical keyboard, and the most advanced BIOS tuning options we've ever seen. Trade-offs: The main compromises are the worst touchpad we've tested, no Advanced Optimus, no G-Sync, extreme pricing, hot keyboard temps, loud fans, poor battery-mode performance, thick and heavy design, and only two RAM slots versus last generation. It performs well, but it loses too many everyday usability and value points against better 18 inch rivals. Alternatives: If you want the best 18 inch gaming laptop, consider the Lenovo Legion 9i which is the best 18" model we've tested with better performance, battery life, software, speakers, ports, and upgradeability.
