Razer Blade 16 (2026) Deals & Price History

Our take: The Razer Blade 16 (2026) is possibly worth considering for frequent travelers who prioritize premium build quality, a thinner chassis and excellent battery life. Skip it if maximum performance, value and upgradeable RAM matter more.
Configs to buy / avoid: The 2026 Blade 16 is only available with 32GB or 64GB RAM, but as it can never be upgraded, you'll have to buy with what you need from the start. The RTX 5070 Ti graphics still provides great performance in modern games, while the 5080 then 5090 start offering diminishing returns compared to thicker laptops that can better power and cool the GPU.
Testing notes: Our RTX 5090 unit lasted 12.5 hours in YouTube playback, 56% longer than last year, while its 240Hz OLED panel got brighter. The GPU ran at 150W without Razer’s cooling pad, but can be increased up to 165W with Hyperboost, but that requires Razer's laptop cooling pad.
Trade-offs: Soldered RAM and an obstructed spare SSD slot limits upgrades, while many larger RTX 5090 laptops perform better in games for less money. Fan loudness increased around 35% over last year in the same performance mode, and the bulky charger undermines the thin laptop’s portability.
Alternatives: Consider the ASUS Zephyrus G16 for its lighter weight, better speakers and more competitive sale pricing. Another portable option is MSI's Stealth 16, which is a little thicker, but has upgradeable RAM.
