Hello deal hunters!

The best gaming laptop deals of the week are here:

This Week’s Best Deals

CPU: Intel Core i5-13450HX

GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4060

RAM: 16GB DDR5-4800

Display: 15.6” 1920 × 1080 144Hz

$829.99 at B&H
Save $270.99 (25%)
Was $1099.99

Comments: We shared this deal 3 weeks ago – but now the price has dropped an extra $20.

Sure, that’s not much lower, but it was already offering excellent value for a solid RTX 4060 gaming laptop – now it’s even better!

Lenovo’s LOQ is my favorite budget gaming laptop, and it’s the cheapest RTX 4060 deal we’ve currently got listed.

CPU: Intel Core i7-13700H

GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4080

RAM: 16GB DDR5-4800

Display: 16” 1920 × 1200 144Hz

SSD: 1TB

$1699.99 at Best Buy
Save $400 (19%)
Was $2099.99

Comments: This is the cheapest RTX 4080 gaming laptop we’ve got listed right now.

The 4080 performs 55% better in games at 1440p compared to the 4070, and in many cases this is not that much more expensive than a 4070 laptop.

But there’s a downside to this value – the screen. A 1080p screen isn’t a good match for the RTX 4080. The 4080 is quite powerful, you’re just not getting the most out of it at 1080p.

But if you’re someone that will dock the laptop and connect it to a better monitor, then this is a great way to the power of the RTX 4080 for less!

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS

GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4070

RAM: 16GB DDR5-4800

Display: 16” 2560 × 1600 165Hz

SSD: 1TB

$1199.99 at Lenovo (Pickup at Best Buy)
Save $150 (11%)
Was $1349.99

Comments: Lenovo’s Legion Slim series is a solid mid-range option, and this is a decent price for a good gaming laptop with RTX 4070 graphics.

That said, it has previously gone on sale for $1150, so it’s possible we might see a slightly better deal in future.

But if that sale happens shortly after you buy, you should be able to contact them for a price match – others have done this in the past.

These are some nice deals – but sales change over time. Our https://gaminglaptop.deals website is updated multiple times a day, so check it out regularly to save money 🤑

Video of the Week – Save Money Buying Used

You don’t have to buy a brand new gaming laptop – it’s possible to save money buying used, here are my best tips to help you 👇

Tip of the Week – How Much RAM is Enough?

16 gigs of RAM has been a strong sweet spot for as long as I’ve been reviewing gaming laptops – almost 10 years now!

And look, it’s still enough for most modern games.

But personally, if I was buying today with the future in mind, I’d either be considering a laptop that comes with 32GB, or I would want to know that the laptop I’m looking at can be upgraded later from 16GB to 32GB later if needed.

Hardware Unboxed recently did a video testing a bunch of different games with different memory, and they clearly show that many newer games want to use more than 16GB – though most are still happy with less than 16GB.
